Through this effort, participants will be able to identify: unique challenges in promoting physical health and wellness for the challenging patient and maintaining improvements in physical health status; unique challenges in promoting mental health and wellness for the challenging patient and maintaining improvements in mental health status; and risk management issues particular to the challenging mental health, physically ill, or dentally ill patient and using that knowledge to decrease risk to the patient and organization.
